Ouch and ouch again..

In my opinion, the worst part of the whole Green Card process is over... the vaccinations! I have a severe needle phobia so one of my greatest achievements ever has been reached - two vaccinations in ONE sitting.

I was required to have the Diptheria/Tetanus and also the MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella). Whilst it is on the list, since I had a severe case of the Chicken Pox, Varicella will not be required.  I got my local GP to administer these to get one extra thing out of the way and also it is a lot cheaper than getting them administered by the Consulate medical team.

The only needle-ish experience that remains is the blood test which will happen as part of my complete medical that will occur a couple of weeks before the interview. They will test for HIV and other nightmarish diseases and they will also check for the Varicella. Hurrah!

I now, can really, not do anything at all until my case number becomes current. The latest visa update has December interviews for 675 and below. Taking into case holidays during January, I am predicting a March interview. *fingers and toes crossed*
