With all forms complete and then double, double and double checked again it was time to do a send off.
Small panic on the Sunday night. As you can see there is a red label that is to be used when sending your forms back. When I had thrown out the envelope, this little label was stuck down in the bottom of the envelope so I didn’t even know it was included. Sunday night I spent going through our rubbish to find that label. Success again!
So in this envelope I included -
-
• Barcode sheet that I received with the package
-
• DS 230 Part I and Part II
-
• Extra information sheet to answer questions for DS-203 Part I
-
• DSP-122
-
• One US standard passport
I included a brief covering letter, took a copy of everything I sent and placed all of this in an International Express post envelope.
It is out now officially out of my hands.
The only thing I can do now is work on preparing on the chance I get an interview. Luckily, I already have full copies of my birth certificates etc so now it is just waiting and waiting some more.
I have started a folder to keep all of the documentation in. So I have have a collection of all the information I sent back to Kentucky, all the paperwork they sent me, postmarks from the envelope and my original 2001 Social Security Card.
