October 2006 –
Entered the DV lottery for the 5th time
April 10th 2007 -
NL dated March 13th, 2007 arrives with the case number OC2008000009XX
April 16th 2007 –
Sent all documentation back to KCC using an Australia Post express post international envelope
August 31st 2007 –
Sent an email to the KCC to confirm that they had received all of my documentation and that it was all correct
September 6th 2007 –
Got this reply from the KCC -
Thank you for your inquiry.
Your forms have been received and are acceptable for the continuation of your visa processing. KCC is currently scheduling visa numbers below 300 for your region for the month of October. If your case number is current, KCC will send a notification letter to you via postal mail. Please refer to the visa bulletin at www.travel.state.gov to locate the current numbers being processed. This bulletin is updated after the 15th day of each month.
October 10th 2007 –
Vaccinations administered by my local GP
December 4th 2007 –
Obtained my police certificate from the Victoria Police
January 11th 2008 –
Found out my case number is current for March, 2008
January 15th 2008 –
After sending my query to the KCC on the 14th of January, I received this reply -
Thank you for your inquiry.
An interview for this case has been scheduled at the American Consulate/Embassy of Sydney on March 11, 2008. A notification letter will be mailed to you from KCC within the next 7-10 business days. Please direct any further questions regarding the processing of your case to this embassy.

Collected my medical results. They were ready on the 21st but there was a spelling mistake on my blood test results. Hence, it is ideal to leave an ample amount of time for the medical as you never know what may happen!
March 9th 2008 –
Fly to Sydney

Interview at the Sydney Consulate scheduled for 8am. Wish me luck!
